How do I know if my court needs resurfacing?
Five signs, and you probably only need one: fading, a surface that’s gone slippery, cracking, bubbling, or peeling. Any of those means the acrylic is breaking down. If you’re not sure, we’ll come look and give you a straight answer at no cost.
How often should courts be resurfaced?
It depends on how much play the court gets. The average is four to seven years.
How long does resurfacing take?
It depends on the job. A straightforward recoat on a sound surface moves quicker than a court that needs crack repair, grinding, and patching first. We’ll give you a real timeline once we’ve seen it.
Do you repair cracks?
Yes. Crack repair is part of most resurfaces and also a job we do on its own.
Can you change court colors?
Yes. Resurfacing is the natural time to switch, and you can pick from a wide range, with custom colors available on request.
Do you install pickleball lines on existing courts?
Yes, and it’s one of our most common jobs. We paint regulation pickleball lines in a contrasting color so the layout stays easy to read.
What coatings do you use?
Acrytech, Cushion X, and SportMaster sport surfacing. We’re certified installers for all three, and every product carries UV protection.
Are some colors more durable than others?
No. All of the material we use has UV protection and performs the same. It comes down to personal preference.
Do different sports need different color schemes?
No. Pick what you like.
Do you install lighting?
Yes, on new builds and existing courts.
Can you repair drainage issues?
In some cases, depending on the cause. We’ll assess it and tell you honestly what’s realistic.
Do you work with HOAs?
Yes.
Do you work with schools?
Yes, along with parks, cities, apartment communities, sports facilities, gymnasiums, and commercial properties.
Do you build cushioned courts like the ones on TV?
Yes. The cushioned surfaces used at the US Open and Australian Open are available for private and commercial courts, and we install them.
Do you build anything besides tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts?
Yes. Shuffleboard courts, multi-sport courts, gymnasium sport courts, basketball wood floors, and outdoor game courts generally. Ask about anything you don’t see listed.
